MAKE A WISH COME TRUE by donating one or more non-budgeted items for our classrooms to enhance the learning experience for our students? You may contribute a monetary annual gift specifically designated to the items listed below or for those who prefer to do the shopping, here are some of the most-immediate needed items:

Helium Tank - For filling balloons for events, mixers, graduation, and board meetings

Portable Video camcorder - for filming campus events, assisting with Social Skills classes and creating Podcasts for Website.

One electronic piano keyboard, preferably a 66-key Yamaha model - for Music Classes (A.McClean)

Cappuccino maker for Staff Lounge

Houghton Mifflin leveled readers and sixth grade leveled readers for our higher students to expand our reading curriculum library for the elementary school

• Thirty LCD monitors (17” or greater) to replace the existing CRT monitors in the classrooms. (Approximately $120 each) (Cheryl: do we want to mention that these are for elementary grades?)

• Twenty five 2009-current desktop computers with LCD monitors (as a set) to replace existing Pentium III computers in PC Lab. (Approx. $600 each)

• Software license for Microsoft Office 2007 application suite in PC Lab (twenty five at $120 each)

Administrative

• Twenty 2009-current desktop computers with LCD monitors to replace existing Pentium III and Pentium 4 computers used by administrative staff and teachers, counselors, specialists. (Approx. $600 each)

• Software license for Microsoft Office 2007 application suite for teacher and staff use on local PCs (twenty at $120 each)

Both Academic and Administrative

• Software license for Microsoft Office 2007 application suite to be applied to Citrix thin client use by both students and staff. (twenty at $120 each)

Assistive Technology (S. Tom)

• Three netbook computers for use by students taking adapted tests. (Approximately $350 each)

• Assistive technology software suite/licenses (three sets) for installation on adapted test netbook computers. (Approx. $1,200 each)

• Three desktop computers for student use in Assistive Technology Lab (Approx. $800 each)

• Assistive technology software suite/licenses (three sets) for installation on AT Lab computers. (Approx. $1,500 each)

• Funding for workstation furniture, desk & chair, and cubicles (three stations) used by students in AT Lab. (Approx. $1,500 each)
