ALLIED NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

For many years parents have inquired about the Prentice School starting a High School program. We are pleased to announce our new partnership with Allied National High School.

The Prentice School is in the process of offering a high school for students that would benefit from:
Small Class Size
Individual Support
Stress-Free Environment
Opportunities for Career Exploration
Preparation for College Curriculum

Program Overview
Allied National High School is a regionally and nationally accredited online high school located in Laguna Hills, California. ANHS is dedicated to assisting students who require a flexible and convenient way to take high school courses in an online setting. ANHS has a successful record of helping students from across the country reach their academic goals.

The ANHS program includes online curriculum aligned with standards-based text materials. We are able to offer individualized instruction to meet student-learning needs because of our unique curriculum design features and student support model. ANHS hires highly qualified teachers who have online teaching experience. Our faculty will work with the Prentice faculty in a team teaching environment to ensure that students have all of the necessary resources to succeed.

Pathfinders will be $13,000 per year for the next two years.

History of Allied National High School
In 2005, Allied Business Schools created Allied National High School (ANHS) to address the needs of those desiring an alternative to a traditional high school education.

In 2006, Allied National High School created partnerships with private and public schools across the country. These partnerships allow schools to collaborate with ANHS to provide their students with services that are not offered by their school. Examples include classes they may not be able to provide, an online environment that helps to meet the needs of students with special learning needs, as well as a flexible schedule. ANHS has found the partnership program to be successful and it has significantly increased the number of part-time students that attend our school.

In 2007, Allied National High School began to offer a summer school program for students that needed to recover credit as well as for those students that desired to get a head start on the next semester. As a result, ANHS has gained many part time students year round, and established partnerships with local schools.

In 2009, we determined that it would be beneficial to offer a general diploma option to our students that are not interested in pursuing a four-year college program. Offering this option allows students to earn their diploma while meeting the California graduation requirements. This allows students to enter their career or vocational program earlier. ABS also offers a vocational and college option for students to pursue their post secondary education once they have earned their diploma at ANHS.
