The Prentice School held its Sixth Annual Conference on Learning Disabilities and Abilities, which took place on Friday, March 31st at the Delhi Center in Santa Ana. Leading off the morning were Drs. Sally and Bennett Shaywitz, both pediatric MDs, professors and research scientists at the Yale University School of Medicine.

With over 400 in attendance, Drs. Shaywitz presented their research on the brain and reading. In the afternoon, in a discussion with Terri Bowersock, Stephen Cannell and Ann Marsh, panelist members shared heart-breaking and heart-warming experiences of the challenges and opportunities of dyslexia.
