    Prentice is a non-public, non-profit, co-educational day school for children with language learning differences (dyslexia)

What grades to you teach?

    Prentice offers classes from pre-kindergarten (age 4-5) to 8th grade

What is the class size?

    Prentice has 3 maximum classroom sizes for different age groups:
        12 students for pre-k and kindergarten
        14 students for grades 1-5
        15 students for grades 6-8

Are you a year-round school?

       No, Prentice is on a traditional school year, starting in August and ending in June.

What approach do you use in teaching students?

    Prentice uses the Slingerland Approach

Are you an accredited school?

      Yes.  In 2003, Prentice received a prestigious six-year accreditation from the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.  Prentice also has a non-public   certification from the California State Department of Education.
